Forest Park Multi-Room Suite - Walk to Campus

Share a 100+ year old home a short walk from NCSU with a professional woman and her dog. The house is in beautiful, historic Forest Park (formerly Cameron Park). It is one of the most desirable - and walkable - areas in Raleigh - easily accessible... to NCSU, The Village, downtown, and more. The house is on a one-way street overlooking a large park. Although it is close to everything - it is quiet and residential.

The housemate will have a large furnished suite - approximately 1/3 of the house - which includes the second floor master bedroom with a newly renovated private bath, an extra large walk-in closet, a private deck (with a dining table and umbrella) overlooking Green Park, and the entire third floor bonus room (which is the length of the house). The space is sunny, spacious, and separate from the rest of the house - similar to a large one-bedroom apartment.

The space is nicely furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary furniture. The bedroom has a queen-sized four poster bed, dresser, and roll top desk. The third floor 'bonus' room has a leather sofa, club chairs, a large television, a table and chairs, that can be used for dining, work or study. The walls are lined with book cases and there is a convenient snack area with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee bar. Accommodations can be made if the tenant prefers to bring in their own furniture.

Shared common areas include a well-stocked kitchen, dining room, and two outdoor spaces - a screened side porch with wicker furniture and a back yard patio with a dining table.

About me - I am a professional woman working in downtown Raleigh on climate change and environmental issues. I work a lot (two days remotely). I lead a pretty quiet life. In my spare time I like to hike, visit family and friends, participate in the community arts, and have several volunteer and church pursuits.
